Job summary

AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for state agencies and operates as remote-first with occasional client travel. We seek a Child Support Systems Consultant to support a state IV-D modernization effort and help shape future proposals.

This role is project-based and contract-oriented, suitable for a 1099 engagement. You will assess the current system, advise on modernization options, and contribute to RFIs and roadmaps, with opportunities to have qualifications and past-performance

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience with state child support enforcement (IV-D) systems or programs.
• Knowledge of federal OCSS certification and APD processes.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Assess the current child support system and federal OCSS certification requirements.
• Recommend modernization strategies: transfer, COTS, modular, or cloud.
• Advise on federal funding (APD), data conversion, and interfaces.
• Contribute to RFI responses and roadmap documents.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.
