Job summary

Wellfleet, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Sales Producer to cultivate new relationships with colleges and universities, build a robust pipeline, and respond to RFPs while collaborating with marketing.

You will travel nationally to promote Wellfleet’s health and accident insurance offerings, coordinate with underwriting to align product needs, and drive revenue growth within the Student Health division. The role includes a competitive base and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage strategic client relationships.
• Experience in health/accident insurance sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new student health insurance opportunities with colleges and universities.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities aligned with Wellfleet’s Student Health division.
• Respond to RFPs, contribute to proposals, and coordinate with marketing for content and positioning.
• Collaborate with underwriting to ensure product/service alignment with client needs.
• Develop strategies and plans to grow the business across assigned territories.
• Create and maintain a business plan to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
