Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors to join as independent contractors (1099). You’ll independently manage on-site surveys for high-value properties, communicating with homeowners and agents, and delivering underwriting-ready reports from your local market.

The role requires strong construction knowledge, sketching and measurement skills, and the ability to engage professionally with clients.

Qualifications

• Construction knowledge and experience in high-value residential properties.
• Proficient in sketching and measurements for accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site high-value residential inspections according to carrier guidelines.
• Document construction features, finishes, and architectural elements.
• Capture measurements, photos, and site observations for underwriting reports.
• Identify underwriting concerns, hazards and loss exposures.
• Develop replacement cost estimates reflecting materials and craftsmanship.
• Submit timely, web-based reports meeting carrier guidelines and loss-control standards.
