Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. is seeking experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to visit property owners in your area to perform interior inspections and high-value dwelling inspections. This is a CONTRACT position (1099) with reports submitted online and paid per completed report.

Most work is in the field; reports are written from home and reviewed by underwriters. Independent contractors must have reliable transportation, a digital camera, a Windows-based PC, high-speed

Qualifications

Experience performing residential insurance inspections.
Two years of comparable experience in a similar role.
Reliable transportation and a smartphone/tablet.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products.
Background check and possible drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Work from home or office.
Schedule appointments with homeowners.
Drive to properties and conduct the survey.
Write up the survey from home using a Windows-based PC.
Determine an accurate replacement cost of the home.
Document unique construction features.
Identify underwriting concerns.
Make recommendations to prevent future loss.
