Signature Companies seeks Residential Insurance Inspectors to visit property owners in your area and perform interior and high-value dwelling inspections. Independent contractors complete reports and are paid per report through a cloud system.

Most work is in the field, with reports written from home, and all inspections must be finished within 21 days. Applicants should have reliable transportation, a camera, high-speed internet, Windows proficiency, and a measuring wheel.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree preferred.
• CPCU or IIA preferred.
• Must have Windows and internet proficiency.
• Smartphone/tablet and personal computer required.
• Late model car ownership required.

Responsibilities

• Work from home or office and schedule homeowner appointments.
• Drive to properties and conduct surveys.
• Write up surveys from home using a Windows PC.
• Determine accurate replacement cost of the home.
• Document unique construction and architectural features.
• Identify underwriting concerns and provide recommendations to prevent loss.
