Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND Active State Special Education teaching license AND Six (6) months of student teaching experience AND Ability to clear required background check(s)

Responsibilities

• Ensure all special education services are provided as determined by the IEP team and communicate with parents and related staff
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports and state-required documentation
• Lead collaborative IEP meetings and coordinate accommodations and modifications
• Monitor student progress with data collection and regular updates to families
• Maintain accurate grade books and communicate performance concerns to administrators
• Deliver rich synchronous and asynchronous online instruction and support students and learning coaches
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and required activities
