Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a High School Virtual Math Teacher to deliver Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus in a fully remote classroom using the provided curriculum. You will teach four periods per day and collaborate with another virtual teacher to ensure content consistency.

You will create an engaging online learning environment, monitor student progress, document lessons, and communicate with parents about performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Valid High School Mathematics teaching certification.
• Minimum three years of high school classroom teaching experience (excluding student teaching).
• At least two years of remote or virtual teaching experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Algebra 2, Geometry and PreCalculus.
• Strong written communication and student progress reporting skills.
• Ability to engage online learners and maintain documentation.
• Reliable internet and a device with camera and mic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus to high school students in a remote classroom.
• Teach four class periods per day using provided curriculum and resources.
• Create an engaging virtual learning environment to encourage participation.
• Monitor performance, assess outcomes, grade assignments, and maintain records.
• Document lessons and track individual student progress for learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about performance and progress.
• Collaborate with another virtual teacher to ensure content consistency.
• Participate in scheduled teaching and planning activities during weekday daytime hours.
