Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in counselor education or school counseling
• Georgia School Counseling certification required
• Georgia Clearance Certificate required or obtainable within 30 days
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines

Responsibilities

• Assist students and families with course selection and scheduling
• Advise on academics, early college and career planning
• Collaborate with teachers and MTSS/RTI teams
• Participate in Georgia state assessments and school events
• Maintain records and documentation of student progress
