Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern to apply academic knowledge in a professional HEOR setting and gain hands-on experience within our dynamic team. You will contribute to retrospective and prospective RWE projects across disease areas while collaborating with pharmaceutical and medical device partners.

The role emphasizes research design, large-scale SAS analyses, and development of study reports, with a focus on learning, quality, and impact.

Qualifications

• Graduate student pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent in HEOR or related field.
• Experience in SAS programming is required.
• Knowledge of SQL is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Research design
• Large database management and analysis, primarily using SAS
• Development of research proposals
• Identifying and finalizing ICD, HCPCS, and CPT codes for research engagements
• Development of study reports and/or conference submissions for dissemination of research findings
• Addressing logistics and implementation issues associated with research studies
• Supporting health outcomes strategy
