Job summary

Avalere Health seeks a Consultant with HEOR/RWE expertise to join our Evidence & Strategy practice in the US. You will manage and conduct studies, develop study protocols and analysis plans, and translate results to lay audiences.

A healthcare research consulting background is preferred. You will work with cross‑functional teams, contribute to client deliverables, and thrive in a flexible hybrid/remote environment that supports work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in epidemiology, health economics, public health, statistics, or similar.
• 4+ years of consulting/healthcare/pharma experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with US healthcare data (claims or EHR data highly valued).
• HEOR and/or RWE experience, particularly with observational studies and secondary data sources.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and confidence working in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, curious approach with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical, epidemiological, and econometric expertise to research and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with programmers, statisticians, and researchers to analyze large US healthcare datasets to inform strategy.
• Create client‑ready presentations and reports that tell a clear story.
• Contribute to scientific publications, conference materials, and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Manage multiple project workstreams, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
