Job summary

Kurita America is seeking a Heavy Industry Consultant with process chemical experience in the Water Treatment industry, based in Houston or Beaumont, Texas, with a remote, home-office arrangement.

The role requires 50–75% travel within the territory, collaboration with global and local teams, and expert knowledge of demulsification, corrosion and fouling control, water treatment, and fuel additives. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 plus an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the Refinery Process industry.
• Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel.
• Valid TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Must comply with Customer and Kurita Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Consultant and advisor to the field and their customers.
• Auditing processes for safety and performance.
• Collaborate with global teams and local teams to drive growth and deliver CSV solutions.
• Have expert level understanding of demulsification, corrosion control, fouling control, water treatment and finished fuel additives.
• Interpreting technical data and service reports to identify improvement opportunities.
