Job summary

Abbott seeks a dedicated clinician to provide technical and clinical support for Heart Failure products across a California territory. You will train customers, support implants, and ensure alignment with approved educational materials.

Ideal candidates have nursing/medical backgrounds, 3–5 years of heart failure experience, and strong communication skills. Abbott offers robust career development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in nursing or medical discipline is required.
• Graduate degree desirable.
• 3–5 years heart failure experience or equivalent preferred.
• Background in Nursing, Circulatory Support or Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for clinical issues for assigned territory customers.
• Train and educate customers on Abbott products per approved educational materials and IFU's.
• Heartline and Travel Call responsibility.
• Attend implants to provide clinical support per approved educational materials.
• Strategic planning and execution to improve clinical outcomes and business objectives within territory.
• Effective management of territory clinical issues, and process related; monthly reports, Concur expense reporting, SFA input, PEC reporting.
• Communicate with Clinical Manager and cross-functional teams to align on goals.
• Adhere to Advamed guidelines and stay current on clinical issues impacting MCS.
