Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Health Technology Management Services team. You will document current state architectures and develop future solution architectures for interoperable systems in a dynamic federal environment.

The role is fully remote within the United States, with core hours 8 AM–5 PM ET. Candidates should have extensive architectural leadership experience, healthcare IT exposure, and a proven ability to deliver across complex system landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline is required.
• 15 years of related experience and expert-level problem-solving are expected.
• Experience in healthcare or healthcare insurance environments is favored.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Strong communication skills and aptitude for building collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic view of current IT architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Build advisory relationships with the client and align roadmaps with strategies.
• Propose architectural solutions in multiple technical environments.
• Interface with users and stakeholders to determine needs and document architectures.
• Manage architectural data across products and teams for data calls and change requests.
• Support maintenance-phase applications while designing new solutions.
