Job summary

Fortified Health Security is seeking a hands-on Information Security Analyst to support a healthcare client through a full-time staff augmentation engagement. You will work with the client and Fortified’s vCISO to address email security, endpoint protection, firewall administration, and access governance.

You will participate in incident handling, policy development, and cross-team collaborations to strengthen the client’s security posture while staying current on evolving threats impacting

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT or information security in a hospital environment.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Exchange hybrid environments.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and next-gen firewall concepts.
• Knowledge of EDR tools (SentinelOne) and SIEM principles.

Responsibilities

• Support email security, endpoint protection, firewall administration, and user access governance.
• Perform incident handling and triage detections escalated from SOC.
• Collaborate with client teams and Fortified departments on cybersecurity.
• Develop and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and runbooks.
• Assist with testing and vulnerability discovery with client teams.
• Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats affecting email, endpoint, and identity systems.
