Job summary

Fortified Health Security is seeking a Security Compliance Analyst to provide security and compliance assessment for healthcare clients. You will manage client projects, perform on-site assessments, and advise on patient health information protection and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include developing policies, keeping up with HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST, and delivering professional support via various communication channels. A 4-year degree and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of information security consulting, assessment, governance, risk, and compliance required.
• Prior cybersecurity experience in healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, COBIT, and PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, manage assigned client projects with clear communication, managed expectations, and timely deliverables.
• With guidance, conduct on-site Information Security and Compliance assessments using Fortified Healthcare tools and methodology.
• Assist in developing or providing guidance on Information Security and Compliance policies and processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of healthcare security and compliance laws/regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, especially HIPAA Security Rule and NIST CSF.
• Deliver high-quality client support in information security and compliance via calls, meetings, and emails.
• Manage client expectations and facilitate engagement throughout assessments.
• Contribute to enhancing services or developing new client offerings with leadership input.
• Develop Corrective Action Plans following Security Risk Assessments and produce client documentation.
