Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join the Revenue Cycle Department for a full‑time remote role supporting our Richardson, TX location. The ideal candidate will prepare and submit claims, review payer billing requirements, and adhere to compliance programs and shared values.

The role reports to the Director of Charge Entry and Revenue Cycle Support Services. Responsibilities include conducting monthly payor audits, analyzing reimbursement trends, assisting with fee schedule

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related business degree.
• Four (4) years of related work experience.
• At least four additional years experience in healthcare reimbursement, managed care or finance; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Prior experience in statistical and financial analysis required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed monthly payor audits to identify trends in reimbursement issues of payors.
• Prepares and analyzes reports on reimbursement trends and communicates findings to managed care teams.
• Assists contract managers with renegotiations of fee schedules; provides information to validate proposed fee schedule changes.
• Participates in provider relations meetings with health plan representatives to discuss reimbursement issues.
• Updates reimbursement schedule information on the shared server as contracts are renegotiated.
• Performs analysis and reimbursement functions in accordance with HCFA regulations and laws.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and financial information.
