Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a senior network architect to own the global data center fabric and WAN strategy supporting healthcare workloads. The role focuses on fabric underlay, EVPN/VXLAN overlays, and high‑bandwidth, low‑latency transport for HPC and data‑intensiveCompute/storage workloads.

You will drive routing architecture (BGP/OSPF), capacity planning, and incident leadership while collaborating with security and clinical teams to meet HIPAA/HITRUST requirements and regulatory audits.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive network engineering/architecture experience.
Experience architecting data center fabric and WAN transport for healthcare environments.
Experience in HIPAA/HITRUST-regulated environments and customer audits.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture of global data center fabric (spine-leaf, EVPN/VXLAN) for HPC and data workloads.
Architect enterprise WAN (MPLS, SD-WAN, DWDM) for resilient, low-latency connectivity between data centers.
Define routing/control-plane (BGP, OSPF) and multi-site policy; drive capacity planning and lifecycle strategy.
Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
