Job summary

Rackspace is looking for an expert Network Architect to own the global data center fabric and enterprise WAN, spanning spine-leaf designs, EVPN/VXLAN overlays, and high-density topologies to support HPC and data-intensive workloads.

You will define BGP/OSPF routing, lead capacity planning, and drive automation initiatives using Python/Ansible while aligning with HIPAA/HITRUST requirements. A strong mentoring role and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive network engineering/architecture experience.
• Experience architecting data center fabric and WAN transport.
• Healthcare HIPAA/HITRUST regulated environment experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end data center fabric and WAN architecture.
• Lead capacity planning and lifecycle strategy for infrastructure.
• Serve as escalation point for complex data center and WAN incidents.
• Develop automation and IaC to standardize provisioning and changes.
• Mentor network engineers and architects across the organization.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST compliance in design and data flows.
