Job summary

Rackspace is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the strategic architecture of global data center fabric and WAN transport, with a focus on healthcare environments and HIPAA/HITRUST alignment. You will translate clinical and regulatory needs into scalable network designs, mentor engineers, and guide multi-site infrastructure initiatives.

This remote role supports US operations with up to 25% travel to customer sites and internal collaborations, delivering high-availability, low-latency

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of data center fabric architecture and WAN design.
• Deep understanding of BGP/OSPF and EVPN/VXLAN in multi-site fabrics.
• Experience with healthcare IT infrastructure, HIPAA/HITRUST awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data center fabric architecture including spine-leaf and EVPN overlays.
• Architect enterprise WAN with MPLS, SD-WAN, and DWDM transport for multi-site connectivity.
• Lead capacity planning and lifecycle strategy for data center and WAN infrastructure.
• Develop automation and IaC practices to standardize provisioning and change management.
• Mentor network engineers and collaborate with security/compliance teams.
