Job summary

Advanced Recovery Systems seeks an entry-to-mid-level Healthcare IT Helpdesk Specialist to support Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, and Avatar EHR across facilities. You’ll handle Tier 1 issues, perform account provisioning, and maintain PHI security in a HIPAA-regulated setting.

Role is fully remote with residency near a facility; on-call rotation and occasional travel may apply. Benefits start day one of employment.

Qualifications

• Windows 10/11 desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) proficiency.
• AD user/group administration fundamentals.
• Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and VPN basics.
• Printer and peripheral support and incident logging.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for technical support via self-service, phone, email, Teams, and on-site.
• Log, prioritize, and manage Help Desk tickets to targets; provide updates to users.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 issues on Windows workstations, printers, and devices.
• Administer accounts (new hires, terminations, password resets, MFA) in AD/Entra ID/M365.
• Provide first-level Avatar EHR support and escalate application issues.
• Deploy computers and mobile devices using Intune; track inventory.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint).
• Assist with remote access (GlobalProtect VPN, Remote Desktop) and network issues.
• Identify security incidents and protect PHI per HIPAA policies.
• Document issues and resolutions; participate in on-call rotation; travel as needed.
