Job summary

PRO-spectus is seeking a Healthcare Intake Processor to manage inbound documentation from payors, vendors, clients, and patients. You will enter data accurately, review for completeness, and route documents to the correct departments while upholding HIPAA guidelines.

The role is remote-friendly with flexible EST to PST hours. Candidates should have strong data-entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting intake operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree in healthcare preferred.
• Experience in healthcare administration, document management, or data entry preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound documentation via fax, electronic upload, or other methods.
• Accurately enter data into proprietary systems and patient files.
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program requirements.
• Route documents to the appropriate department, program, or team member.
• Maintain KPI expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and quality assurance.
• Monitor and respond to incoming requests and inquiries through multiple systems.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve document discrepancies or incomplete submissions.
• Abide by HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of PHI.
