Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst to support financial operations, forecasting, and reporting for the World Trade Center Health Program. You will drive budgetary controls, perform reconciliations, and deliver timely insights to support funding allocations.

You will partner with operations, contracts, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with federal requirements and program policies, while producing dashboards and ad hoc analyses for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or program financial management in Healthcare or related operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting financial management for complex programs with multiple stakeholders (leadership, operations, contracts, compliance).
• Strong knowledge of cost management fundamentals, forecasting methods, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ability to build and maintain detailed financial models and reporting tools in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis).
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; translate financial information into actionable insights.
• Experience supporting CDC, CMS, or other federal health programs and/or government contracting environments.
• Knowledge of the World Trade Center Health Program or similar public health, benefits, or claims-driven programs.
• Experience supporting contractor transitions, system implementations, or large operational transformations.

Responsibilities

• Support financial operations for healthcare services under the WTC Health Program, including forecasting, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting in alignment with CDC/CMS guidelines.
• Forecast and monitor medical and pharmacy spending, identifying key cost drivers, including high-dollar claims and utilization trends.
• Review medical and pharmacy payments to understand underlying data and collaborate with associated functional teams.
• Reconcile medical claims and payments across financial systems, investigate variances, and maintain audit trails.
• Create routine and ad hoc financial reporting and dashboards for internal and external customers.
