Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial operations, payment processing, forecasting, and reporting for the World Trade Center Health Program.

In this role, you will support the claims payment processing function, produce budgetary and reconciliation reports to track expenditures against funding allocations, create recurring and ad-hoc reports that highlight trends and variances, and interact with provider billing offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or program financial management in Healthcare or related operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting financial management for complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ability to build and maintain detailed financial models and reporting tools in Excel.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support financial operations for healthcare services under the WTC Health Program, including forecasting, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Forecast and monitor medical and pharmacy spending, identify key cost drivers, and analyze trends.
• Review medical and pharmacy payments, understand underlying data, and collaborate with other teams.
• Reconcile medical claims and payments across systems, investigate variances, and maintain audit trails.
• Create routine and ad hoc financial reporting and dashboards for internal and external customers.
• Produce budgetary forecasts and spend plans to inform program funding management.
