Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Quality Lead with strong data-testing leadership and healthcare domain expertise to define strategy, oversee end-to-end quality activities, guide technical teams, and translate complex data-quality risks into clear business impacts. The role does not require day-to-day hands-on test execution.

Responsibilities include overseeing data validation, ETL testing, and data-flow validation, plus leadership of quality across the SDLC and Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years of proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and resources
• 3 years of experience leading and mentoring small teams through all phases of the SDLC; coach QA testers and Associate Quality Leads
• Bachelor’s degree required; substitutions possible per company policy

Responsibilities

• Define data testing strategy, planning, estimation, execution oversight, quality metrics, and reporting
• Oversee SQL and database validation, data integration, ETL, migration, and end-to-end data-flow testing
• Guide test data management and apply experience with test automation and data-validation tools
• Understand claims, membership, provider, and care management data
• Lead risk identification, mitigation, defect management, and root cause analysis
• Drive quality across the SDLC, Agile delivery, and release readiness
• Build client relationships, lead cross-functional collaboration, and communicate quality status to executives
