Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist to join our revenue cycle team. This full-time role focuses on collecting claims with accuracy and timely follow-up, while building enduring payer and patient relationships.

Responsibilities include reviewing denials, reducing DSO, verifying benefits for pharmacy and medical claims, and documenting case activity in the system.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience.
• High School Diploma and additional specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections.
• Remote work experience is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect outstanding balances.
• Review EOBs, RAs, and denials to identify reasons and take corrective action.
• Identify payor requirements for submittal of appeals and submit as needed.
• Document activity and schedule follow-ups in the system to resolve issues.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims.
