Optum is hiring for a full-time remote role with flexible 8-hour shifts within CST business hours. The position supports medical insurance collections, AR management, and payer communications from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities include prioritizing collections, obtaining remits, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate documentation. Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years in medical insurance collections or home infusion billing.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Mansioni

• Review open AR and prioritize collection activities.
• Develop relationships with payers to obtain remits and resolve root causes.
• Ensure timely and accurate follow up on invoices.
• Document key accounts and report trends to supervisors.
• Identify and document bad debt write-offs and AR adjustments.
• Create refund requests per policies and procedures.
• Ensure secondary claims are generated and submitted timely.
