Accendra Health is seeking a Billing Representative to service customer accounts, ensure timely remittance, and address payer issues to maintain smooth cash flow. The role concentrates on accurate billing and effective communication with patients and insurers.

Ideal candidates will understand medical terminology, navigate insurance processes, and document activities in ERP systems while using Microsoft Office tools to support daily tasks and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurances HCPC/ICD-9 codes.
• Experience answering questions from customers and insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Service customer billing needs and assure timely remittance.
• Follow-up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment when needed.
• Prepare and review clean claims for submission to insurances.
