Advocate Health is offering an Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing healthcare administration. The program runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027 and is remote with up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Interns rotate through system Administration and Operations, gaining hands-on experience in management and strategy across multiple sites. The role requires current enrollment as a junior or senior in related fields; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited college/university.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Intern will help manage a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to progress.
• Becomes part of the work unit team to carry out assigned work within rotation.
• Identify and use internal/external resources to accomplish goals.
• Share information on current trends to stimulate new ideas and thinking.
• Help build a broad range of healthcare management skills.
• Work with physicians, administrative colleagues, and allied health staff.
• Assist in describing and integrating functions and relationships across the system.
