Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a graduate-level Administrative Intern to gain practical experience across system Administration and Operations. You will support multiple projects, collaborate with clinicians and staff, and contribute to improving processes and patient care within a large health system.

Applicants must be enrolled in a CAHME‑accredited healthcare administration program or an MBA with a healthcare focus; a 40‑hour workweek is typical during the May–August internship period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a graduate healthcare administration or MBA program; CAHME preferred.
• Strong communications skills and high attention to detail are required.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects.
• Participate in rotation within the work unit and collaborate with internal teams.
• Support process improvement and data collection activities.
• Prepare information and research materials and create presentations.
