Job summary

Advocate Health offers a remote Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing an accredited Healthcare Administration degree. The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, remote from OH residents.

Interns will work across Administration and Operations to gain practical, strategic experience and contribute to system projects. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, develop management skills, and support process improvement and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and currently enrolled in a graduate Master’s in Healthcare Administration or MBA with a healthcare focus.
• CAHME accreditation preferred.
• GPA of at least 2.5.

Responsibilities

• Support diverse healthcare projects and contribute to progress and sponsor needs.
• Join the work unit and use resources to achieve goals; share trends and ideas.
• Develop broad healthcare management skills through collaboration with physicians and staff.
• Describe and integrate functions supporting Advocate Health’s vision across settings.
• Seek process improvements and apply data collection and analysis methods.
• Meet leadership regularly to discuss progress and fellowship.
• Participate in system strategic planning and program development.
• Assist in managing databases and inputs for information and records.
• Contribute to program/process or application development.
• Prepare information, research materials, and presentations.
