Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing a Healthcare Administration degree or an MBA with a healthcare focus. The program runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week.

Location-based remote eligibility includes IA and several other states; interns will engage in varied system-wide projects and experiential learning. Interns will work under supervision to support administrative, operational, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Healthcare Administration or an MBA with healthcare focus.
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress as required for internship eligibility.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required to support system Administration teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects within Advocate Health.
• Collaborate with clinicians and admin staff to support department goals.
• Develop presentations and research materials for leadership review.
• Support system-wide strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
