Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year medical or call center experience required.
• 1 year scheduling/referral/registration/billing experience preferred.
• CMA certification preferred; bilingual ability valued.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and schedule appointments and/or procedures.
• Provide patient education about services and portal access.
• Handle payments over the phone and data entry in EHR.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately.
• Manage referral work queues and inbound fax lines.
• Maintain confidentiality of PHI and document interactions clearly.
