Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in the United States seeks a Research Scientist or Senior Research Scientist for remote placement, collaborating with lead investigators to advance epidemiologic and health policy research.

Master's or PhD in a quantitative field is required, with at least 4 years' professional experience in statistical programming (SAS preferred). You will design analytic approaches, mentor junior analysts, prepare papers, and present results to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, etc.).
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software; SAS preferred (e.g., conducting survival analysis).
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, including sponsors and policymakers.
• Demonstrated history of progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• Contributions to the field of health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology; health research background.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead investigators to coordinate research development and ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Develop SAS code for completing analyses and verify accuracy of coding.
• Mentor junior Research Analysts and help them contribute to project objectives.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations; present results to biostatisticians and clinicians.
