Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to support the Health Texas project, offering remote work and paid training. The role requires residency in Texas with a 70-mile radius of Austin for Day 1 onsite training.

Full-time position with 8-hour shifts during CST hours. Training includes a $1/hour increase upon completion. Competitive benefits and a 401K plan are part of the package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to type efficiently and handle 100+ calls per day.
• Ability to work 8:00am–6:30pm CST, with shifts scheduled.
• Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries via telephone, IVR, web chat, or other channels per guidelines.
• Provide accurate information regarding programs and services to enrollees and providers.
• Track and document customer interactions in applicable systems.
• Complete tasks per guidelines to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers and entering data.
