Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a Health IT Technical Analyst to serve as a SME for clinical data supporting Medicaid and related health IT projects. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, interoperability, and timely implementation across CMS-mandated timelines.

You will collaborate with clinical teams to test data flows, refine APIs, and support production deployment while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and a commitment to best practices in health information exchange.

Qualifications

• Expertise in HL7, FHIR, and health information exchange standards.
• Ability to analyze, validate, troubleshoot, and ensure clinical data accuracy.
• Experience with SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD, CPT, and RxNorm.
• Experience supporting HIE platforms and data exchange projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot client system clinical data used to support HR1 work-requirement exemption determinations.
• Assist with the development and refinement of the API that delivers relevant clinical data from client health information exchange system to client case management system (client’s eligibility system)
• Work directly with SAS, J2, clientMedicaid teams and other stakeholders to test data flows, resolve issues, and support movement of new functionality into production
• Support the scoping of new projects and feasibility of requests
