Job summary

CRISP Shared Services is seeking an Integration Engineer to design, configure, and maintain data connections for health information exchange across Maryland and neighboring regions. The role emphasizes leading integrations with new customers and monitoring data flows to ensure reliable delivery.

The ideal candidate has HL7v2/v3 experience, strong documentation skills, and a solid understanding of the software lifecycle. A 4 year degree and healthcare tech exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• 2-4 years of work experience in healthcare technology, or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience with healthcare integrations, required.
• Experience with Python and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new data feeds and connections with customers.
• Maintain operational status of production data feeds and systems.
• Monitor data flow to ensure data reaches its destination.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integrations.
• Troubleshoot errors in production feeds and assist dependent systems owners.
• Participate in a 14-team on-call rotation after ~6 months.
• Follow established processes and participate in code reviews.
