Job summary

Optum Serve Consulting/The Lewin Group (OSC/Lewin) seeks a Healthcare Data Analytics Consultant, Quality Measurement, to lead data-driven quality measures for Medicare/Medicaid and federal programs. This role supports business development, client engagement, and policy-based analytics across the U.S.

The role offers remote work nationwide with in-office requirement in Minneapolis or Washington, DC for those locations, and a strong emphasis on leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Health policy professional with 4+ years in health services research/evaluation/policy or 6+ years with a Bachelor's
• Experience leading business development and proposal responses with clients
• Experience with quality measure engagements, preferably federal CMS programs
• Experience with data used to measure health care quality (claims, EHR, etc.)
• Ability to translate policy/measure specs into technical requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate evidence on clinical measures from CMS/NQF-compliant sources
• Code to extract/transform/analyze large healthcare datasets (Python/SQL/R/SAS)
• Design and implement coding solutions for measure calculations and reporting
• Develop test measure protocols and specifications
• Perform quantitative analysis for Medicare/Medicaid quality measures
• Track standards-setting committee activities (NQF)
• Draft/manage proposals for new measure development projects
• Engage with clients to expand relationships via policy consultation
• Support growth strategies with leadership
• Manage project delivery teams and mentor staff
