Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s OptumCare/The Lewin Group seeks a Senior Consultant, Quality Measurement to lead quality measure engagements and grow the client base.

The role requires health policy expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to guide multi-year contracts while mentoring teams.

We offer remote work nationwide with in-office four days a week in Minneapolis or Washington, DC, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in health services research, evaluation, or policy with advanced degree.
• Experience in leading business development and proposals.
• Broad understanding of federal/state health policy issues.
• Experience with health data sources (claims, EHR, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate evidence on effectiveness for clinical measures derived from administrative or claims data, health records, EHRs and other sources in CMS/NQF-compliant.
• Develop test measure protocols and measure specifications.
• Perform quantitative analysis for Medicare/Medicaid payment models.
• Track activities of standards-setting committees and consensus-based organizations like NQF.
• Draft and manage proposals for new projects related to measure development, testing, maintenance, and implementation.
• Engage, develop, cultivate and expand client relationships through policy consultation and thought leadership.
• Support development of strategy for long-term organizational growth.
• Manage project delivery teams for day-to-day execution.
• Mentor team members to develop analytical problem-solving skills
