Job summary

The position involves creating and implementing communications plans, developing messages for multiple channels, and ensuring cultural relevance and appropriate literacy levels.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years professional related experience.
• Knowledge of behavior change messaging and communications principles.
• Commitment to health equity including racial equity and social determinants of health.
• Experience developing communications materials and campaigns.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate communications message strategies.
• Develop printed/online publications, websites, and collateral materials.
• Collaborate with program teams for message planning and delivery.
• Build relationships with partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Create content for digital media ensuring channel consistency.
• Base activities on best practices and established principles.
• Attend internal and external meetings as needed.
• Deliver assigned reports and tasks within deadlines.
• Manage project work and ensure quality/ deliverable compliance.
