The Consumer Health Foundation is seeking a Communications Manager to lead strategic communications in support of our 10-year plan, and to advance health equity in the Washington, DC region. You will partner with the President and CEO to shape messaging across media, digital, and public engagement.

Ideal candidates will bring a deep commitment to racial justice, experience in leveraging communications tools and platforms, and the ability to translate advocacy goals into compelling narratives

Qualifications

• Your orientation to or philosophy about the role of communications in movements for racial justice.
• How you have challenged or envision challenging traditional communications norms.
• Your skills as it relates to communications tools, media, platforms, software, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic communications activities of the Foundation in alignment with the 10-year strategic plan.
• Collaborate with the President and CEO to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
