Job summary

Revecore is hiring a Health Claims Specialist to bill and investigate health insurance claims for hospitals and providers. The role emphasizes maximizing payer payments across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid, with comprehensive training and a home-office setup.

You will file UB04 and 1500 HCFA forms, conduct timely follow-ups, and work in EPIC and MS Office environments to support claim resolution and reporting.

Qualifications

• Has experience researching and resolving claims for commercial health, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Knows how to file correct UB04's and 1500 HCFA's with subrogation information to payers for payment
• Having a familiarity with billing health insurance as part of auto accidents
• Conducts timely follow-up activities to determine claim status and collect and/or provide information to resolve the claim
• Has experience working in EPIC
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Possess technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Can maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics

Responsibilities

• Bill and investigate health insurance claims to maximize payments for hospitals and providers
• Follow up on unresolved claims to facilitate payment across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Prepare denial reports, audits, and supportive documentation for clients
• Utilize EPIC and MS Office to document actions and outcomes in each claim file
• Maintain productivity metrics while handling multiple claims concurrently
• Collaborate with team to improve accuracy and cycle times
