Job summary

Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C in California is seeking one or two junior or mid-level associates to join our health care litigation team. Many team members work remotely with no in-office attendance requirement; candidates must be licensed in California and located in/near Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego.

We represent sophisticated clients across health systems, post-acute providers, physicians and digital health providers.

Qualifications

• CA bar admission required or pending admission with eligibility to practice in CA
• Strong written and oral advocacy abilities
• Ability to manage matters with guidance and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Manage and respond to discovery and e-discovery tasks
• Advise clients with practical, actionable guidance on regulatory issues
• Collaborate with fraud, licensing, and health care business transaction teams
