Job summary

Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, P.C. is seeking one or two junior or mid-level health care litigation associates. The firm supports remote work with no in-office attendance requirement, while California licensure is needed.

The team represents health care providers, systems and related entities across regulatory contexts. The position offers substantial, meaningful work, collaboration with specialists, and opportunities to advance within a leading health law practice in California.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice in California.
• Health care litigation experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and courts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients and provide clear legal analysis.
• Develop understanding of clients’ business operations and goals.
• Provide practical and actionable legal advice and work with the team on complex matters.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motions, and e-discovery tasks as part of health care litigation.
