Job summary

ICF seeks an experienced Grantee Specialist to support the Service Area IV Head Start TTA office. The role focuses on administration, planning, and management systems to improve program capacity and compliance with Head Start Standards.

Remote or home-based work is possible within service area states, with travel as required. You will provide on-site and virtual TTA to recipients, develop Quality Improvement Plans, and coordinate with other specialists to ensure integrated services across

Qualifications

• BA or BS from an accredited university or college.
• If highest degree was awarded >10 years ago, resume must detail courses or relevant work.
• 5+ years’ experience in program/organizational management and/or fiscal operations with Head Start programs.
• 1+ years’ experience supporting recipients to improve effectiveness and quality of operations.
• 1+ years’ experience providing technical assistance to governance bodies and program staff.
• 1+ years’ experience addressing compliance issues.
• 1+ years’ experience communicating to various audiences.
• 1+ years’ experience operating computer software systems and technology with virtual platforms.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or virtual T/TA to recipients on governance, program management, and fiscal operations.
• Correct noncompliance and deficiencies identified by federal monitoring; may require on-site work.
• Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plan addressing root causes of noncompliance.
• Improve program oversight and management in identified areas.
• Maintain regular communication with Service Area Office staff on TTA delivery and progress.
• Coordinate TTA with other specialists for integrated management systems training.
• Develop and provide presentations and training on program management and fiscal operations.
• Support emerging Office of Head Start initiatives and priorities.
