You will guide complex case adjudication, coach teams, and leverage analytics to improve mortality outcomes and turnaround times, while engaging with product, distribution, and technology partners.

The role emphasizes ethical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and adoption of digital tools and workflows within a fully remote US-based setting.

Formación

• Extensive life underwriting expertise with authority on complex cases.
• Minimum 5 years of life underwriting experience; able to lead teams.
• Experience with automated underwriting platforms (RHO, PIA) and quality control.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; collaborate with reinsurers.
• Coaches underwriters to adopt digital tools and workflows.
• Commitment to ethics, regulatory compliance, and sustainable practices.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert judgment on highly complex and escalated cases.
• Oversee complex case adjudication during peak volumes.
• Lead and develop a team of underwriters; ensure SLAs.
• Leverage analytics dashboards to monitor mortality and cycle times.
• Pilot and validate new underwriting technologies and vendor solutions.
• Coach and upskill underwriters in analytics and digital tools.
• Negotiate appeals with professional judgment.
• Communicate with field force and home office to gather information and convey decisions.
