Job summary

M3USA is seeking a technically deep Head of Engineering for PracticeMatch, a US-based, remote leadership role. You will guide modernization from ColdFusion to TypeScript and Python in the cloud, build robust CI/CD, and raise the bar on quality and security while partnering with product to align with the roadmap.

You will write code, review architecture, and lead a distributed team to deliver faster, more reliable releases across the physician recruiting platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on technical work.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams.
• SaaS, data or platform product experience; healthcare or physician recruiting experience is a plus.
• Experience leading legacy modernization or platform migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization efforts with a phased architecture overhaul.
• Define and drive the architecture and migration plan.
• Build foundations: test automation, CI/CD, observability, cloud platform.
• Own production engineering and lead incident response to fix root causes.
