Modernizing Medicine, Inc. (ModMed) is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of software engineers, delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions. This role blends technical leadership with people management to execute product roadmaps.

You will oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable healthcare applications, partnering with product, UX/UI, and security teams to drive coding standards and robust delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong architecture background.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing software engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of healthcare software.
• Collaborate with product management, UX/UI, and stakeholders to translate requirements into specs.
