Job summary
Highline Warren, LLC seeks an experienced HDPE Blow Molding Operations Engineer Technical Specialist to optimize extrusion blow molding processes, troubleshoot defects, and support startups across multiple facilities. The role requires hands-on expertise in process optimization, mold qualification, and employee training.
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in plastics/manufacturing engineering or related field.
- 8+ years extrusion blow molding experience.
- 5+ years HDPE processing experience.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
- Experience with automotive fluids or similar packaging operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for HDPE extrusion blow molding processes and optimize parameters.
- Diagnose defects, stability issues, and equipment performance.
- Travel to facilities to support installations, line transfers and expansions.
- Lead process capability studies and cost/performance improvements.
- Train operators and plant personnel; develop training materials.
- Support new product launches and mold qualification.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to improve performance.
