Job summary

Connect Centric is seeking a Project Manager to lead the payroll workstream within client HCM initiatives, focusing on UKG and Workday. You will plan, coordinate, and track deliverables, schedules, risks, testing, cutover, and transition readiness.

This role requires hands-on experience with UKG and Workday, collaborating with the PMO, payroll, HR, finance, vendors, and partners to meet business needs and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience delivering enterprise HCM or payroll initiatives.
• Experience supporting payroll initiatives with UKG and Workday, including planning and integration coordination.
• Experience coordinating testing, data validation, security, reporting, readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Hands-on use of UKG and Workday to support payroll workstream delivery and governance.
• Experience leading complex payroll/HCM workstreams with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Knowledge of payroll operations, compliance, time/attendance, benefits, and self-service.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution tracking for the payroll workstream across UKG and Workday.
• Develop and maintain payroll workstream plans, milestones, risks, issues, and actions.
• Facilitate payroll workstream meetings and communicate progress to leadership.
• Coordinate with payroll, HR, finance, operations, IT, and partners to align scope and priorities.
• Coordinate requirements, configuration decisions, business workflows, integrations, and testing.
• Support payroll cutover, implementation, and transition readiness.
• Maintain dashboards, RAID logs, and project documentation.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, issues, and compliance considerations to stakeholders.
• Support change management, training coordination, and adoption planning.
• Adhere to client standards, policies, and information security requirements.
• Assess operations and vendor capabilities to propose practical improvements.
• Ensure deliverables meet business needs, quality, and delivery commitments.
