Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist to support Medicare Advantage risk adjustment initiatives. This role focuses on concurrent outpatient coding reviews with Epic EMR and aims for high-quality coding accuracy.

Must hold CPC or CCS, have 3+ years of risk adjustment experience, and be able to work a fixed CST schedule; no weekend or evening shifts. Essential collaboration with coding, quality, CDI, and operations teams ensures consistent productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have active CPC or CCS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Risk Adjustment/HCC coding experience.
• Experience coding in a Medicare Advantage environment.
• Maintain 96%+ coding accuracy in a fast-paced, high-production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent reviews of outpatient records to capture HCCs and chronic conditions.
• Support retrospective coding projects as needed.
• Assign ICD-10-CM codes per CMS risk adjustment guidelines.
• Review documentation for coding accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Collaborate with coding, quality, CDI, and operations teams to meet productivity and quality targets.
